Digital Transformation and the Social Sciences and Humanities

STRUCTURE

The Center is established at the School of Philosophy and collaborates with the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications at the School of Science. It is a hub of knowledge around the theme of  Social Transformation in the Digital Era comprising of respective  University Research labs. It is run by a coordinating committee whose president is the rector of NKUA and by a chosen scientific committee of experts with prof. Chronis Kynigos from the Dept. of Educational Studies as Scientific Coordinator. This scientific committee determines and organizes the projects and actions of the Center. The objective of the Center is emergent and highly interdisciplinary. This is why  it is structured around research units within NKUA. So far, 15 Research Labs from the School of Philosophy, the School of Science and the School of Economics and Political Sciences have asked to participate.
